This guide will walk you through everything you need to launch your new website quickly.

Getting Started

After purchasing the template:

Step 1

Duplicate the template into your Wix account.

Step 2

Replace the logo.

Go to:

Header → Logo

Upload your own company logo.

Step 3

Update Brand Colors

Open:

Site Styles → Colors

Replace the global colors with your own brand palette.

Because the template uses Global Colors, your entire website updates automatically.

Step 4

Update Fonts

Open:

Site Styles → Typography

Replace the heading and body fonts with your preferred typography.

Step 5

Replace Images

Replace all placeholder images with:

  • Team photos

  • HVAC technicians

  • Trucks

  • Installations

  • Commercial projects

  • Residential projects

  • Equipment

  • Office photos

Recommended image width:

1920px

Recommended format:

WebP or JPG


How to Edit Text & Images

Editing your website is simple and intuitive.

To update text:

  1. Hold Ctrl and click directly on any text element

  2. Double click and start typing to replace the content

To replace images:

  1. Hold Ctrl and click on the image

  2. Select “Change Image”

  3. Upload your own or choose from the media library

All pages are fully customizable, allowing you to adapt the design to match your brand.

Working with CMS (Dynamic Content)
To Connect Content

  1. Select element (text, image, etc.)

  2. Click “Connect to CMS”

  3. Choose the correct field

To Add New Items

  • Go to CMS collection

  • Click “Add Item”

  • Fill in fields

Changes update automatically across the site

Forms & Contact Setup

To receive messages:

  1. Go to Contact Form

  2. Click “Form Settings”

  3. Connect your email

Mobile Optimization

Scalora is fully responsive, but you can:

  • Switch to mobile view

  • Adjust spacing and layout if needed

Performance Tips

  • Compress large images

  • Avoid adding too many heavy animations

Important: Partner Access Request

If you plan to upgrade your Wix plan in the future, I would greatly appreciate being invited as a website partner before the upgrade.

This does not give me control of your site, but it allows Wix to recognize that I assisted with the website setup.

If you’re comfortable doing so, please invite me as a Partner / Website Manager before upgrading your plan.

You can do this by following these steps:

  1. Open your site dashboard

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Select Roles & Permissions

  4. Click Invite People

  5. Enter the email: info@websitebuildersuniversity.com

  6. Assign the role Website Manager
