Welcome to Fixora Home Services Template

Thank you for choosing the Fixora Home Services Wix Studio Template. This template is designed specifically for handyman and home service businesses in North America, with a focus on high conversions, clean design, and easy customization.

This guide will help you quickly set up, customize, and launch your website.

Getting Started

1. Duplicate the Template

• Open the template in Wix Studio

• Click “Edit Site”

• Save it to your workspace

2. Connect Your Domain

• Go to Settings → Domains

• Connect your custom domain

• Publish your site

3. Update Business Information

Replace the default content with your own:

• Business name

• Phone number

• Email address

• Service areas

• Logo and branding

CMS COLLECTIONS OVERVIEW

This template uses Wix CMS (Content Manager) for dynamic content.

How to Edit CMS Content:

1. Go to Content Manager

2. Select a collection

3. Edit or add new items

4. Changes update automatically across the site

• Navigate to Services Collection

• Each service automatically updates its dynamic page

Managing Projects (Portfolio)

• Add before/after images

• Fill in:Scope of work
  Challenges

• Use Featured toggle to show on homepage

Managing Testimonials

• Add client reviews in the Testimonials Collection

• Include:Name
  Rating
  Project type
  

• Use Featured toggle for homepage display

Editing Team Members

• Update team profiles in the Team Collection

• Add:Photos
  Roles
  Experience
  

• These automatically populate the team section

Blog Setup

• Go to Blog Manager

• Add new posts or edit existing ones

• Use blog posts to improve SEO and attract traffic

Wix Bookings Setup

Step 1: Add Services

• Go to Bookings → Services

• Create services like:Handyman Visit
  Consultation
  Maintenance Plan
  

Step 2: Set Availability

• Define working hours

• Assign staff if needed

Step 3: Connect Payments

• Go to Settings → Accept Payments

• Connect Stripe, PayPal, or other providers

If you plan to upgrade your Wix plan in the future, I would greatly appreciate being invited as a website partner before the upgrade.

This does not give me control of your site, but it allows Wix to recognize that I assisted with the website setup.

4. Click Invite People
